Oleg Karpovich |
Oleg Karpovich the artist of graphics from Belorussia, was born 31 July, 1960, and as he jokes: "at once has understood, that I am able to do nothing more except for drawing..." Veins in Slonim till 15 years where has finished musical and high school then has moved to Minsk where has finished the Minsk art school of A.K.Glebov with distinction and the Belarussian Academy of Arts. Since then and till today works according to the trade of the artist of tool's and book's graphics received in Academy, that it is in itself surprising in our country. The first premium has received having won in the international competition of an ex-libris in Belgium. Following for the poster in Poland, then more and more... Works of the artist at the present moment are in the London library of F.Skaryny, Representation of the United Nations in Belarus and in set of private collections in the country and abroad. In Belarus Oleg Karpovich is known as the master of satirical diagrams, and also a friendly cartoon, a caricature and the poster. Except painting Oleg Karpovich works as the art editor and the journalist in the known Belarussian newspaper "Free News" where among other, conducts the unique author's strip "Mgnovenia"( "Instant" ) submitted in his catalogue.
