Viktor Nikolaev | Biography |
| He was born and had grown in Minsk. In his birth date we can see no ordinariness (February 29th, 1960). Before studying in the Art Academy he studied in Minsk art school #1 and in Minsk A.K.Glebov's art college. In the Academy he studied at the monumental-decorative arts faculty under G. H. Vastchenko management. When finished he's got a artist-monumentalit's diploma and moved to Vitebsk, where he lives today. Namely in Vitebsk he realized himself as an entire form. He made the following works: Frescos: in a hostel, in a 3rd city hospital, in a main building of Vitebsk State Technical University. Graffito: in a school No. 41, Vitebsk Department Store Soldered stained glass window: in a 3rd city hospital, in a swimming pool "Komsomoletz" KIM, in a sanitary epidemic's station, in a "Russia" hotel (Noyabrsk city, Russia) and a work on private order in Mozyr. Outline-idea and participation in paintings of curtain in a Business and Culture Center of Open Holding Society "Fashion Industry's Classic". He had two personal exhibitions. On 29th of February, 1996 Nikolaev presented "Punctum saliens" project - "Trembling Point", "Main Point" (exhibition hall СХ) - these are graphic works and installations (about 70), in which the point considered as the basement of all expressed on plane and in a space. On 5th May 1998 in Mark Shagal's Art-center his second exhibition "Sense of Light" has opened. There was represented series o 25 graphic works. Series had one common title - "Light's Architecture", and the conception of a light is many-sided - there are both a spirit and an idea contained… In 1990 he took part in an exhibition "Young Artists From Vitebsk" (Ninburgh, Germany). Nikolaev was one of nine artists, presented their works on it. In 1995 he became a prize winner at the "White Art Festival". In common he took pert in two international exhibitions five republican and eleven regional exhibitions. |
